I went to the little book shop down on main street and spent about a half hour in there trying to find a decent-looking book. Jesus Christ, how many YA and supernatural authors ARE there, exactly, all ripping off the same common-knowledge Irish fairy lore, and all ripping off one another's interpretations of it? Don't get me wrong, some authors do the lore justice, whether they do it with an actually *faithful* application of the lore or by playing it so fast and loose that it really becomes their own creation and it doesn't seem so much like they're using a big sparkly Gaelic crutch, but ARRRG on the whole.

If I see the word "Unseelie" on a back-cover synopsis ONE MORE TIME, I WILL cut someone.
